Microtek i800 vs Epson V700

Could I get the user/expert opinion on these two scanners, which woul
be better for scanning 35 mm slides, negatives, and prints from those?

Is there a better buy in this price range

There has been no response to my post! Is my post inappropriate for this
Forum or is it that no one uses these scanners? I was hoping for some
help. Needless to say I am disappointed. Will now look for other sources
for help.

Try going to comp.periphs.scanners group, still poorly subscribed to now,
but many more mails.

Can't comment on the Mircrotek, but I have the epson v700 and it is
very,very good.
